Art has the amazing power to both calm and enliven, and I love having the opportunity to have my work in your homes.

I’m lucky enough to be based in Mount Maunganui, right near the beach. If you look through my work you’ll notice a lot of it is inspired by the local beach landscape and flora.

My painting style is constantly evolving. One of the consistent features is a fascination with colour and light. I work with a variety of different mediums to balance out the two, including gouache, watercolour, acrylic and oil pastels.

I often paint florals (especially the hydrangea artworks) with a mix of watercolour and acrylic as the contrast between these two mediums captures the shifting light between the petals beautifully.

Lately, I’ve found myself drawn to vibrant, colour palettes to enable me to dive deeper into the connection to my local landscape.

My time is generally split between painting, running my website and being a full-time mum!
